brief history

gizmo was founded in August 2006, to provide computer support to everyday Australians, in their home environment (or over-the-phone) given the rapid adoption of technologies used in the home (broadband, home networking, digital media).

We've continued to build a loyal direct customer base that have come to enjoy our unique value proposition and service, as well as our partnering with leading Australian retailers, IT Vendors and telecommunication providers.

In 2011 and with the surging importance of cloud computing, we also extended our offering to offer small to medium business an all-encompassing cloud solution.

gizmo's headquarters which includes our customer service center, is located in Ultimo NSW, Australia.

gizmo services include: computer repairs, virus prevention and removal, networking, computer support, hardware and software installation, cloud computing and advisory services. Services are provided rapidly and over-the-phone, where customers can enjoy flat fees and service guarantees, 7 days.

gizmo’s partners include: Dell, iPrimus, RACQ, ACN and Microsoft. We've worked really hard to ensure that our technicians (known as gizmotechs) are both Microsoft and Apple certified, allowing us to provide the best in class service to all of our customers. We're also part of the Apple Certified Network and we're both a Silver and Gold Microsoft OEM Partner. Gizmo is also part of the IIA (Internet Industry Association of Australia).
