DLNA- The Digital Living Network Alliance

DLNA, or the Digital Living Network Alliance a joint effort by over 250 major businesses including big corporations like Hewlett Packard, Dolby, Motorola, Nokia, Pioneer and Toshiba, creating compatible products and platforms and using open source standards and common industry standards. So anything buy bearing the DLNA logo will definitely run with another DNLA product. This is “computer support” at the manufacturing level.

For years now, people have been complaining, with good reason, about the difficulty of getting different products to interoperate. If you’ve ever tried getting computer materials to run on a TV, you’ll know it can be frustrating. The DLNA concept is to finally make that maddening process seamless and easy. Manufacturers will be creating standardized, reliable and certified equipment which will run whatever you’ve got, properly and without the nervous breakdowns.
