If you think the default Windows mouse cursor is boring, here's how you change it (for Windows 7):
- Firstly, click on the Start Menu, then click Control Panel
- In the Control Panel, click on Mouse to open the mouse settings

- Once in the mouse settings, click on the Pointers tab

- In the pointers tab you can change the cursor/pointer scheme to one that you find more pleasing to the eye
- Click on Apply once you've selected the one you prefer.
