How do I transfer photos to a USB flash drive?

There are a couple of ways to do this, but the easiest is to copy them from your computer and then paste them on the flash drive. Before you do this, make sure you have enough space on the flash drive before you begin, otherwise the copy will fail.

Start by opening Windows Explorer and browsing to the location of the photos.

Select the photos you want to transfer, holding down shift to select a range or ctrl to select a few individually.

Right-click on the selected files, and then click on copy.

When you plug the flash drive into your computer, you should see an autoplay window asking what you’d like to do, select the option that says “Open folder to view files”.

This will bring up the contents of the flash drive. Right-click in this new window and click paste.
